Friendship
K!L4 lasted this long because people became mates, not because somebody maintained an impressive win/loss ratio.
We're more interested in the person behind the controller than their K/D.
K!L4 is a UK gaming clan that's been around since 2008. We're here to win games, have a laugh, talk absolute nonsense and spend time with people we actually enjoy gaming with.
You don't need to be brilliant. You do need to fit in.
We like winning. Obviously.
But K!L4 isn't built around compulsory training nights, ridiculous K/D requirements or treating Call of Duty like employment.
Some of us are very good. Some of us have moments of greatness.
Some of us provide important statistical balance.
What matters more is whether you're somebody people actually want in the party.
K!L4 lasted this long because people became mates, not because somebody maintained an impressive win/loss ratio.
There will be banter. There will almost certainly be piss-taking. Being able to laugh at yourself helps considerably.
The banter works because there's still a line. Treat people properly.
You don't need to live online, but joining K!L4 means becoming part of the group rather than simply wearing the name.
You don't need to be the best player in the lobby. You do need to be someone people enjoy spending an evening with.
A remarkably effective clan policy.
Play. Chat. Join Discord. Get to know people. Become part of the crew.
*Everything else is mostly admin.
Call of Duty is where K!L4 began and remains a huge part of what we play. But the clan has long since become bigger than one game.
The roots of K!L4 and still a major part of clan gaming.
Squads, questionable pushes and the occasional genuinely decent win.
Regular clan sessions, private matches and the home of many bad decisions.
Because apparently ruining friendships on a golf course is more civilised.
Where carefully planned operations generally remain carefully planned for approximately thirty seconds.
Games change. K!L4 doesn't need to.
We're not trying to recruit everyone. We're trying to find people who fit.
K!L4 members have jobs, shifts, families, children, careers, holidays, commitments — and occasionally something better to do than spend an evening getting shot in Call of Duty.
That's normal.
One reason K!L4 has survived since 2008 is because people are allowed to have lives.
Join the K!L4 Discord and introduce yourself. You don't need an application essay. Just come and talk to us.
Jump into some games. Have a chat. Get to know the crew. Let the crew get to know you.
Joining a clan works both ways. You're working out whether K!L4 suits you just as much as we're working out whether you suit K!L4.
If everything clicks, you can be welcomed properly into the clan and gain access to the member side of K!L4, including the private HQ.
No ridiculous initiation ceremony required. Probably.
We're not recruiting somebody for one Call of Duty. We're inviting them into K!L4.
Membership of K!L4 may result in:
And, in severe cases:
Proceed at your own risk.
Think you'd fit in? Come and say hello.
Discord is the best place to start because it lets you meet the crew and get involved. If you can't use Discord, or you'd rather contact us first, you're welcome to use the clan email.
Joining Discord or emailing us does not automatically make somebody a K!L4 member. Getting to know each other comes first.
We're still writing it.
